I have just released Undying II people : The sequel to the classic Horror shooter Clive Barker's Undying... I am really looking forward to the reaction to this release... Because this is my favorite game of the three I am releasing in Late December 2017. It has the best pure gameplay of the three and was the most fun to test for me by far... Vicious Onslaught was great and everything but it was really tough... This however, was not as hard and because of that I like it the most...
This game takes place 40 years after Clive Barker's Undying, which took place in 1927. This takes place in 1977. You are the grandfather of Patrick Galloway (the first game's character) and are tasked with investigating Patricks weird Disappearance in the 1920's... You find out later that Patrick Galloway was investigating a demonic curse on a a friend named Jeremiah. The demon involved, the so called Undying King ended up Possessing Patrick at the end of the game, it turns out and he vanished... Later on when you find Patrick's revolver, the undying king torments you because he was inside the revolver waiting for someone to claim it so he could torment them, or you in this case.
The game is a FPS with Survival Horror Elements. Horror elements include the use of youtube-like screamers popping up in the game at random moments and in scripted sequences that tell the story. This makes this game DAMN scary! You can be wandering around only to be hit with a horrible face and a loud scream. The faces used in the screamers are disgusting. And when it's over, there is a slight chance for another to pop up a few seconds later, which makes it important not to drop your guard after you run into one.
Due to time constraints, the story is told through text messages. I know I could have done voiceovers but I didn't really want to, I had no time to record them. And my voice would not have fit to well with the characters, because the main character is Irish. And even though I am half Irish, I cannot do an Irish accent well.
The enemies and weapons are a lot different than the original game. Gone are the spells, and a lot of the unique weapons in Undying 1 could not be done easily by me in the sequel. Two guns, the revolver and shotgun return in the sequel but that's it. New guns such as an M60, Flamethrower, and Flak Cannon are brought in, and they all fit 1970's stuff well... No Chainguns, Laser/Energy Weapons or Explosives are in this game, to compensate for the fact they would not be available or not have been easy to get in the 1970's. The soundtrack is all royaltee-free horror themed music I found online.
Anyway, you can download the game here... It is a little bit smaller download than the last 2 games thanks to the lack of high-res textures and music in the game....
Unzip the exe to a folder called C:\undying2. To play type the following command into the windows run box:
"C:\undying2\undying2.bat"
System requirements:
Pentium 4 or higher
ATI Radeon 8500/Geforce 4 or higher
Windows 7 or higher

Undying2 Manual
Here is the official manual for our sequel to the game Clive Barker's Undying. Undying2 is being worked on and currently it's being tested and should be released by Jan 1 2018 or around then....
The game isn't out yet, but I decided to write a manual for Undying2, just like I did for Vicious Onslaught. This will cover most of the enemies (minus bosses) and the guns, so I can show them off in a post...
Weapons:
Pistol - Starting Sidearm.. Weakest weapon
Revolver - You get this much later. This is your grandfathers gun. It is chambered
with silver bullets. It does tons of damage. Strongest gun in the game.
Auto Shotgun - one of two auto shotguns in the game
Smasher Auto Shotgun - Another Auto Shotgun
Quad Shotgun - Quad Barreled killing machine!
Double Barreled Shotgun - This is the same shotgun that was in undying 1.
Ak47 - Weak Assault Rifle
M60 - Stronger than the AK47 by far
Flamethrower - Powerful Weapon that has tons of ammo available
Flare Gun - Shots flares that light enemies on fire
Flechette Cannon - The most powerful gun in the game, but has limited ammo...
Enemies:
Cultist - Part of the army of cultists that attack London and Ireland in 1973
Jetpack Cultist - A cultist with a jetpack
Howler - Undead servants of the cult. Some are cloaked and some can instakill you!
Cult soldier - Soldiers that fight for the cult...
Lesser Monto-Shonoi - Demons summoned by the cult
Skarrow - Undead creatures from the realm of Oneiros... Summoned by the Cult
Greater Monto-Shonoi - The Bigger version of the lesser Mono-Shonoi..
There are a lot more enemies in the game than this... Many more. But here is a sneak peak of the game.....

Vicious Games is working on a Sequel to the Masterful Horror FPS Undying!
I've decided that SeriousSamRevealed is not the last game I will release this year. Now a third game will be released around XMAS 2017.... Now added to the list is a game that I am making that is a sequel to one of my favorite games ever : Clive Barker's Undying. Undying is an underrated Gem that came out in 2001. It is a survival horror/FPS Hybrid that is quite scary and is also insanely hard. I had my ass handed to me in this game when I played it last time, surviving with only 7 health at the end. But this game is what got me into horror games... I played tons after, such as F.E.A.R., STALKER, and Dead Space. I really liked those three, but this one is what got me into horror games so I decided to do a sequel to it, in gzdoom.
In the last 2 days I made the game's resources from realm667 stuff. I used mostly realm667 stuff for this, thanks to the brilliant person who uploaded the Undying texture set in the Doom Format there. I then found weapons that fit the theme I had planned for it, made a scripting library for various features and such and assembled the game last night, and tweaked it today. The game features realm667 stuff but also features modifed realm667 stuff such as recreations of original undying enemies with spritework from realm667 stuff.. It also features a creepy soundtrack I downloaded from royaltee free music sites.
The games story takes place in England and Ireland in 1973. You play as Patrick Galloway's Grandson, John Esther Galloway, who is investigating his grandfathers disappearance in 1929. At the same time, an insane "cult of evil" invades London and Ireland, and they are summoning creatures that are very similar to the ones Patrick Galloway fought in 1927 in the original undying. Throughout the game you go around London, Dublin and finally Ireland's countryside fighting undead and cultists, and try to unravel what happened to patrick. But what you don't realize is that the Undying King was not defeated by Patrick and awakens in you, resulting in horrifying visions and voices that show up... And the Undying king reveals that Patrick's Soul was Possessed by him after their battle at the end of Undying. It's up to you to stop the undying king.
This leads into the horror elements of the game. Besides the creepy soundtrack there are also two other things that show up.
1) Undying King Tormenting you with Gibberish! - He speaks pure gibberish at many times in the game when you least expect it... Since the story of the game is in text only (due to time constraints), I was able to do this quite nicely. It shows the Insanity of the Undying King
2) Youtube style Screamers. Yes the undying king will try to scare the shit out of you and he does this with random scary images+screams that pop up at random times. These got me several times and scared the crap out of me. The screams are quite loud and the images are fucking messed up looking such as stuff like this:
The game features a lot of the enemies from the original undying including Howlers, Skarrows, Monto-Shonoi's (both lesser and greater) and those super annoying plants.. They have all been redesigned though, so don't expect the same exact enemy from undying. Howlers are more canine now being the most major change.. Skarrows look like grey Cthulhu's with legs and don't have snake legs. Monto shonoi have no arms now. And the plants look a lot different. Complementing them are tons of new enemies as well.
The weapons in the game are quite good. 2 guns from Undying Returns (The Revolver and Shotgun)
Complementing them are new guns such as a Flamethrower, AK47, A non Revolver Pistol, A flare gun, An Automatic Shotgun, a second auto shotgun, a M60, a Quad Shotgun and even a Flak Cannon. One change that is important to note, is that no spells are in the game. You are not a spellcaster like in the original game so It made no sense to bring spells back...
The game is being worked on currently. I did some changes recently to it. But it's mostly done. The levels are all Randoom Generated, and they have Undying Textures in them. The feeling of the game is quite creepy... It is one of the scariest things I've ever seen in the doom engine...
Here is screenshots of the game:

More info will be mentioned in subsequent blog posts... Stay tuned...
